1:1 EMBODIED REMEMBERING

A 3 or 6 month 1:1 coaching container to be held as you remember your
ecosystem of aliveness, pleasure and nourishing connection.

To see if you're we're align and you're ripe to begin 1:1 coaching.

What do you most wish to remember and embody? My deepest desire for all of us is to feel our effervescent aliveness and nourishing connection (to ourselves, each other, and this planet).

To taste and remember our expansive spectrum of choices and possibilities for pleasure. While also savouring the pleasure that is already here, right now.

I’m talking all types of pleasure that remind us we’re alive, in all moments even the everyday mundane moments, not just sexual pleasure.

Yet, pleasure needs protected precious space and time for you to pause, listen, trust, and remember your pleasure spectrum choices.
To keep making your way back to yourself again and again.

Our collective barriers and dampeners to pleasure:

While we live inside a collective crisis of pace and disconnection, it can be challenging to remember our inherent language of simmering pleasure and brimming aliveness, to trust the language of our bodies, and to keep finding our way back to ourselves.

We’re collectively socialised to be suspicious of our pleasure, to abandon ourselves, and to control rather than listen to our bodies.

We’re collectively taught the languages of shame and guilt, meanwhile the language of pleasure and sensations fades.

We’re asked to go go go work work work and not pause and listen to what’s important.

We’re taught pleasure will control us, rather than free us.
We’re taught pleasure will distract us, rather than fulfill us.
We’re taught pleasure will corrupt us, rather than align us.
We’re taught pleasure will distance us, rather enliven us.

….and we wisely comply by internalising these beliefs, and distancing ourselves from our own pleasure. We gather coping skills, survival strategies, and socialised characters. Because we’re taught that if we abandon ourselves and our expressions of aliveness, then we will be rewarded with a promised sense of belonging and safety.

Then we start to believe we’re broken, too much, not enough, or that we have problems to fix alone.

The possibilities:

Yet, despite all of these barrier to pleasure, I believe pleasure is a practice of remembering, rather than learning or fixing.

A practice that gets to be fun, imperfect, and microdosed.

When we feel the flicker of pleasure and the seed of aliveness, it feels like a nostalgic song we were born knowing and have forgotten. A language that helped us express ourselves. A rousing dance that brought us effusive joy.

Pleasure is waiting to be remembered and felt. Our self-trust is waiting for us to be listened to again. Our aliveness is bubbling and ready.

And yet, here we are. Majority of us earnestly fumbling, trying to remember the song, the language, the dance. Trying to make our way back to ourselves. What has been waiting inside us to be heard, felt, listened to, and tended to.

But this remembering, this fumbling back to ourselves doesn’t have to be serious and sombre.

It can also be PLAYFUL. SILLY. INTUITIVE. CELEBRATORY.

When we fed ourselves with pleasure and aliveness, we remember, and we show possibility for an embodied collective. An attuned collective. A listening collective. A connected collective.

Pleasure nourishes us. Pleasure connects us. Pleasure enlivens us. Pleasure is the messenger of what we value, what is important, what is aligned.

Pleasure is a relationship we cultivate.
Self-trust is a language we remember.
Embodiment is a way we reconnect to the nourishment.
Playfulness is a way of being we reclaim.

May we soften and open to ourselves and our aliveness. May we live deeper in our bodies.

“My time with Euphemia was miraculous. The space Euphemia creates to be witnessed, coached and guided in the most gentle, generous, thoughtful and safe way is like nothing I have ever experienced. It's because of that I was able to make some truly impactful and long lasting changes in my lifes beliefs, thoughts and actions as well as now having a very real, practiced and lived understanding of the connection pleasure has with self worth. I feel fully resourced after our months of exploration. I now live deeper in my body. I will be forever grateful for their knowledge, experience, kindness, support and encouragement. My world feels brighter.” — Sarah

How I can support you

What support do you need and desire as you cultivate your pleasure and aliveness?

Experiencing coaching with me is like being in a healing and effervescent wellspring. Held as you remember and playfully invite in more pleasure.

Pleasure requires protected precious space and time for us to pause, listen, trust, and remember our pleasure spectrum choices. To keep making our way back to ourselves again and again. That is how Embodied Remembering is, an ongoing container as I hold and guide you back to yourself while you extend towards your longings.

This is by far the deepest way to work with me. We build an intimate relationship for 6-months of regular sessions and communication. I am fully present and invested in your embodied remembering and deepening.

I blend practices in pleasure, intuitive movement, somatic, play, and reverence of the natural animist world together to remember your pleasure and aliveness.

We create an ecosystem of pleasure and support for your experience that's integratable and specific to you.

Over my 8 years of coaching, I’ve coached hundreds of people and have created a “methodology” in response to the desires, barriers, and possibilities for pleasure I’ve witnessed. Here are 7 questions you might be asking yourself, the world, and that I can support you in.

  1. I’m “too much” in my head, and I know that it's good for me to connect with and be present in my body more. How do I do this?

  2. I want more pleasure but don’t feel like I deserve it and/or feel safe to explore it. How do I get in touch with what feels good and  safe in my body?

  3. I’m a people pleaser and I regularly sacrifice my own joy  and pleasure to prioritise others’ comfort – how do I shift that dynamic?

  4. I struggle with body dysmorphia and/or gender dysphoria. Which somatic practices can support me to build a relationship with my body?

  5. I experience a lot of stress in life and struggle to feel pleasure. How can I feel pleasure and not quit my commitments?

  6. When I feel pleasure I feel conflicting emotions like grief or anger. How can I feel pleasure without getting overwhelmed or disengaged?

  7. I struggle to know and articulate my needs, desires, boundaries, and fantasies. Help, how do I practice this and not be embarrassed?

“Working with Euphemia was nothing but an absolute pleasure. Euphemia was able to so eloquently and delicately demystify what I had been struggling with for quite some time, in a way that was fun and accessible. What I loved was that through working with Euphemia my relationship with myself and my body completely changed. I’m so grateful to have worked with Euphemia and feel like I’ve been given a beautiful platform to continue to explore my pleasure.”
— Simon

In coaching, I hold you in a deep container as we:

  • orient towards aliveness + nourishing connection. Pleasure is a direct path to aliveness. Embodiment is a direct path to nourishing connection.

  • meet ourselves where we’re at right now. No pushing, no shaming. We go at the pace of self-trust as we explore change and alignment, through orienting towards our desires and guide us and fuel our unfurling.

  • practice pausing to listen, build self-trust, and expand our choices for pleasure.

  • explore the FULL spectrum of pleasure. The everyday pleasure, the sensual pleasure, the sexual pleasure, and pleasure in each and every moment we remember to pause and explore the choices.

  • practice remembering rather than learning or fixing. We can often focus on thinking we’re broken, inadequate, or have a problem to fix. Pleasure isn’t mastered, but rather remembered. Pleasure is a practice of coming back to a language we’ve always known and forgotten.

  • explore nourishing connection to your soma (whole self) each other and the land: thoughts, feelings and sensation, and connection to land and spirit (if you have a felt connection). To listen, and see what your embodiment has to say when we pause and listen. When we can feel deeper into ourselves, we can live deeper in ourselves.

  • recognise the systems of oppression and their collective and individual shaping and dampeners to aliveness. We honour and thank our socialised characters and survival strategies we wisely created to protect ourselves, even if they’ve now become dampeners and barriers to our pleasure and aliveness.

  • listen to ourselves through intuitive movement. They illuminate our needs, wants, and current shape often more clearly than words or thoughts ever could.

  • playfully, imperfectly, microdose pleasure. We disrupt perfectionism, and all or nothing thinking by being imperfect, playful and microdosing pleasure to remember what it tastes like.

  • allow ourselves to be grounded AND silly, creative, messy, and fluid.

  • are guided by animism and ecology. Much of the intuitive movement is guided by ecology, animist beliefs, and reverence of the earth.

  • carve space for slow pleasure amongst collective crisis of pace and disconnection.

  • honour space for nuance and complexity with tenderness.

Details about the solo embodied taster sessions:

  • In our 45-min video session we’ll explore if we’re aligned in what you need and I can hold you in, if we resonate, and if you’re ripe to begin.

  • This isn’t a sales or information chat (all the info is on this webpage). Instead, you receive an embodied taster of our sessions by focusing on something you want to explore. When you book, you will answer some reflection questions to distil what you want to explore.

  • If we feel aligned, then I hold a spot for you, and give you 3 days to decide after our chat. Your spot is confirmed with the first month’s payment. I encourage you to make an embodied decision after the session (not on the spot). To go and talk to a tree, swim in the ocean, feel the ground under your feet, and ask: “is this for me now?”

  • People who book in earlier, will be given priority for the coaching spots.

  • The times you see available on the calendar are the only times for sessions. If they don’t suit you, email me.

To see if you're we're align and you're ripe to begin 1:1 coaching.

Euphemia (they/them) is a full spectrum pleasure coach and bestselling author of Slow Pleasure

Euphemia is trained and certified in somatic coaching, International Coaching Federation, sex-positive education, sexual violence counselling, trauma-informed facilitation, and has a background in Community Cultural Development.

Their work aims to support people to flourish and feel pleasure. Even despite our collective crisis of pace and disconnection. They’ve been featured in Elle, Cosmopolitan, Vice, Harper’s Bazaar, and multiple national radios and newspapers.

They are particularly dedicated to resourcing and cherishing people who are distanced from their pleasure and bodies. Usually, this is because of holding minority identities and being socialised to be people-pleasing and appeasing, defaulting to others, overgiving, and/or playing small to be safe and liked.

‘Slow Pleasure’ is both the name of Euphemia’s best-selling book and their theory of change.  By learning to access the full spectrum of pleasure, drip by drip and microdose by microdose, people  can feel their own aliveness and reestablish a nourishing connection to self, others, and the land. Euphemia understands pleasure and somatics to be a journey of creating moments to pause, listen and remember, rather than ‘fix’ or accumulate knowledge.

Frequently asked questions:

Where are you based?
I live on Tongva land/Los Angeles, California. And, I was born on unceded Wurundjeri land, known as Naarm/Melbourne, Australia.

What is a session like?
Sessions are 60-minute Zoom video sessions, with live captioning if you need. In a session, we will distil the focus of your commitment to pleasure and aliveness overall, the focus of the session, and then in each session it will be a combination of pleasure practices, intuitive movement, somatic practices, reflection questions.
The intention of these are to help you listen to yourself, acknowledge your barriers and pleasure dampeners, build self-trust, and invite in more pleasure and aliveness.

What is your approach to privacy?

  • No sessions are recorded unless you want recordings of particular practices.

  • Session notes are saved in a Google Drive folder, which no one else has shared access to.

  • All our communicated inbetween sessions are on Signal, which is an end-to-end encrypted messaged app, where even Signal doesn’t have access to your messages.

  • I don’t speak with anyone but you about your sessions and explorations. What you say stays in sessions, and what is learnt leaves.

What is your experience of working with Black, Indigenous, and People of People of Colour?
About 60% of my clients are people of colour, and I work with Indigenous people, Black people, Blak Indigenous people, and People of Colour in all my offerings.
To support my unlearning of White Supremacy culture and transmuting my Whiteness I have mentors, a coach who guides me if I face challenges, ongoing racialised somatic training, and self-organised politicised healing group. These spaces are to support me to unlearn and process, without putting on expectation or responsibility on my clients to help me do this.

Are you open to working with people you already know personally?
Yes, I am open to working with people I have existing relationships with (except immediate family). I’d love to support and resource you.
I hold privacy and a distinction between work and life with high rigour and clarity. I won’t mention you or any details of working together with anyone. The only exception is if I see you in person and you mention in friend of others, then I will respond.
My only request is that you don’t expect to share updates or ask for guidance outside sessions and group spaces unless I ask and invite them.

Do you work with multiple people in a session? Such as couples, throuples, nonmonogamous constellations in relationships?
Not at the moment. I used to, but I no longer do.

Do you support individuals in non-monogamy?
Yes, I can and do. I don’t share this as one of my main focuses but I’ve been nonmonogamous for 11 years, and feel dedicated to resourcing people as they navigate non-monogamy and hopefully come into more pleasure and aliveness in their desired relating style.

What is intuitive movement?
How I define and practice intuitive movement is as: a free movement practice guided by self-trust. It’s a playful ritual to pause, listen, remember and rekindle self-trust. In the practice you allow your pleasure to guide your movements, and respond to your sensations, impulses, needs and wants.
The intention is to allow yourself to move, to be moved, become unstuck, express emotions, soften, shift states, open yourself, be fluid, and be receptive. To feel what is there waiting to be heard.
Different movements can reveal different feelings and experiences, and in turn expand our spectrum of known choices.

Can I do 1:1 Embodied Remembering coaching with you if I’ve already done 1:1 coaching with you before?
Yes, absolutely!

I’m currently processing a crisis and/or trauma, and need support and resourcing. Are you the right person?
In short, no. Although I have training in trauma and crisis support, I am not a therapist or trauma specialist.
